Why NFR Exists
NFR was created to provide truly accessible recovery coaching and peer support. For me, accessibility has always meant financially realistic. Anyone who has lived this process knows how quickly support can become expensive.
When I left treatment, I didn’t have four or five thousand dollars a month for recovery coaching. I knew how valuable it would have been, but it just wasn’t possible. I couldn’t understand why a more attainable option didn’t exist. Years later, I decided to build the resource I wish I’d had.
What has grown from that decision is beyond what I ever imagined. NFR is more than a service. It’s a family. Everyone here is committed to offering care that is truly equivalent to, if not even more than, the level of services offered at high-priced recovery coaching organizations - all while ensuring it remains accessible. We’re not here to get rich. No amount of money will ever compare with experiencing families heal, watching people return to themselves, and seeing them grow beyond what they believed possible.
Our Community Impact in 2025
Because of the trust you placed in us this year, we expanded our community support in ways I never could have predicted. In 2025, through scholarships for coaching and transport, community event contributions, and donations to local organizations offering free or low-cost recovery resources, we contributed more than $20,000 back into the community.
That impact belongs to all of you.
Milestones & Transformations This Year
Some of the growth we witnessed this year has been extraordinary:
• Alumni celebrating continuous years of recovery
• Clients being accepted into highly competitive college programs
• Families reclaiming stability and safety in their homes
• Relationships rebuilt, jobs retained, and parents reconnecting with their kids
• Lives restored through compassion, structure, and consistent support
Even on the hardest days, something always reminds me that the difficult parts of recovery often open the door to the most meaningful progress. Whether it’s a milestone, an update, or a message from a former client, you all continually lift me up.
Gratitude for the People Behind the Mission
To my wife — thank you for supporting this mission and allowing me to show up for others even when it’s inconvenient. I owe my life to your courage, your intervention, and your patience. None of this exists without you.
To our team — you are some of the most dedicated and compassionate people I know. The sense of family that people feel at NFR exists because of you. Your commitment inspires me every day.
To our clients — thank you for showing up even when every part of you wants to turn away. You allow us to remind you that you’re not a bad person, just a hurting person trying to feel better.
To the families we support — you are the true heroes of this process. Your efforts may not come with key tags or coins, but everything you do matters deeply and never goes unnoticed.
To our collaborators — thank you for your wisdom, your generosity, and your willingness to share guidance, resources, and strategies. You help make us more effective, and I’m endlessly grateful.
Looking Ahead
As I close out 2025, I can honestly say my life feels full and purposeful, and that is because of all of you. If you or someone you love needs support heading into the holiday season, please reach out. We will always find a way to help and make sure people get to the right place.
This has never been about the bottom line, and it never will be. I often joke that I’m not great at business, but good at supporting people. The priority will always be making sure you or your loved one gets the support you deserve.
Wishing you all a meaningful and peaceful holiday season, and thank you for reminding me daily how lucky I am.
Share Your Experience & Help Others Find Support
If NFR has made a difference for you, your family, or someone you’ve referred, we’d be incredibly grateful if you’d consider sharing your experience. Your endorsement helps other families trust in our support during some of the most overwhelming moments of their lives. If you want to share a positive experience, but very understandably don’t want your name attached to the Google review, you can always email it to me directly and we can share a more anonymized version on our website.

Thank you for helping us continue to make recovery support accessible, compassionate, and community-centered.
- Cam
As we move toward the end of 2025, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible things I’ve witnessed this year and the deep gratitude I feel for the people who make this work possible. I also wanted to take a moment to recognize what we’ve accomplished together and how our growth has allowed us to offer accessible, relatable, and highly individualized recovery support to people who often wouldn’t have access to services like ours.
At the center of everything we’ve built at NFR is one truth: none of this exists without the people we’ve met, supported, partnered with, and learned from along the way. As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to say sincerely, thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your loved ones, your clients, and your friends. Not a moment goes by where I’m not filled with absolute gratitude for the opportunities to provide calm in no doubt one of the more challenging moments that a family will ever go through. You remind me every day that recovery is possible, solutions exist, and that I am unbelievably fortunate to walk alongside you.
